Cancellation Policy


We understand that sometimes life happens, and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. As a small psychology practice, your appointments are important to us and to other clients who may be waiting for a session.

To ensure we can continue to provide quality care and manage our schedule effectively, we kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment.

Cancellation Fees

  • For cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or for missed appointments:
    • Within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment: 50% of the session fee for the first two instances, and the full fee for any subsequent instances.
    • Within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment or non-attendance: 100% of the session fee.
  • Please note that third-party providers like WorkCover, CTP, and DVA typically don’t cover fees for short-notice cancellations or missed appointments. In these instances, the cancellation fee would be your responsibility.
  • NDIS clients: The full session fee will apply as per NDIS pricing arrangements for late cancellations or no-shows.
  • Medicare rebates cannot be claimed on cancelled appointments.

Reminders

We’ll send you a reminder SMS 4 days before your appointment to give you plenty of time to confirm or make changes if needed.
